Kelvin H. Chin
Author & Speaker

In his own words...

Now that my family is raised, I’m devoting my full-time to my 3 nonprofits and my writing. This website is for my book writing. However, you can see my nonprofit work at these websites: TurninWithin.org (teaching effortless meditation called “Turning Within”), OvercomingTheFearOfDeath.org (helping reduce and eliminate fears about death), and KelvinChin.org (spiritual self-development teachings).

More about Kelvin...

As a teenager, Kelvin learned to meditate, later studying personally with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who taught millions how to meditate effortlessly. Kelvin taught the first meditation courses at West Point and in the U.S. Army in Korea. Since then, he has continued to teach an even simpler technique he calls “Turning Within,” making it even easier to learn.

In his mid-20’s, Kelvin spontaneously began to recall ancient memories from centuries ago. One major theme surfaced: No matter how eternal our minds seem to be, we tend to fall into the same recurring patterns of behavior over and over again. How to change those patterns is his current focus.

So Kelvin has shifted his focus away from his corporate career to helping others navigate life’s often challenging waters — with the goal of improving the quality of life by offering better, more effective ways of thinking about life’s thorny issues (cruelty, imperfection, uncertainty), by “demystifying the mystical,” and by teaching his clients how to “turn on the Opposite of the Fight or Flight switch,” eliminating anxiety and restoring balance to their lives.

Kelvin lives in Los Angeles, California, but travels and teaches worldwide on the phone, videoconference, and in-person. He has taught over 5,000 students in 70 countries.
